A Queensland mum is in shock after her infrequent lottery ticket turned out to be a golden one, winning her a life-changing share of the $30 million top prize in the Saturday Gold Lotto draw.
The Spring Mountain mum held one of the eight division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4481, drawn Saturday 29 June 2024. Each winner banked $3.75 million.
The winning woman received the surprise of a lifetime when she checked her ticket this morning and uncovered her newly made multi-millionaire status.
“Oh my god! Oh my god!” she cheered.
“Holy s***!
“I’m in shock. I don’t know what to feel.
“I don’t even play often – this is my second ticket in the last two months.
“I think I’m going to leave work early today. I can’t concentrate.
“I’ll be using the prize to help set up my daughter for the future. She’s still so young and this will go a long way.”
Her winning ticket was a 25-game QuickPick.
The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4481 on Saturday 29 June 2024 were 30, 24, 44, 21, 45 and 10, while the supplementary numbers were 31 and 28.
Across Australia, there were eight division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4481 – four in Queensland, two in Tasmania and one each in New South Wales and South Australia.
