Between Monday 21 November and Thursday 24 November, thousands of Leavers are expected to visit the South West, to celebrate the end of 12 years of schooling.
The WA Police Force, alongside our partner agencies, will support secondary school leavers, to ensure they have a safe and enjoyable time, with well organised activities and entertainment.
Designated Leavers Entertainment Zones, as well as transport, activities and support services, will be set up in Dunsborough and Busselton to offer safe environments for young people to celebrate with others of their own age.
Access to these activities requires Leavers to have the official 2022 Leavers wristband. These wristbands are available for purchase online until the end of Leavers.
The event will be supported by various agencies including Department of Health, St. John WA, City of Busselton, South West Coach Lines, Baptist Churches, Red Frogs, Royal Lifesaving Society of WA, Hope Community services, WAAC, along with hundreds of volunteers.
Additional police will be sent to the South West also, during and after the official Leavers period.
Further information for both parents and Leavers can be found at the official Leavers WA website, www.leaverswa.com.au and on the Leavers WA Facebook page, www.facebook.com/LeaversWA
