More than 70 businesses came together in Leeds as the city hosted the 2024 UK Corporate Games.
Following a successful bid from the University of Leeds and Leeds City Council, a festival of sporting action took place across the city last weekend.
Competitors - including a 180+ strong team from the University - participated in a packed programme that included everything from poker and tenpin bowling to dragon boat racing and e-sports.
The games provided the opportunity for our staff, local businesses and national companies to participate in a long weekend of sport in our world class sporting facilities and across the city of Leeds."
The University finished fifth in the overall medal table and came first in the cycling and running events. Team Nexus also took part in the dragon boat, karting, running, cycling and e-sports events.

Patrick Craig, Head of Health and Wellbeing at the University of Leeds, said: "We were delighted that so many members of staff took part in the Corporate Games this year. The games encouraged our staff to get active and provided an opportunity to try new sports and connect with colleagues."
Details of the individual medal winners and team points per sport have now been published.
The games started with a Welcome Festival, where participants attended an athletes' parade around the University of Leeds campus. Lord Mayor of Leeds, Councillor Abigail Marshall-Katung, and former BBC Look North presenter Tanya Arnold welcomed the participants to the University and to the games.
Councillor Marshall-Katung, an alum of the University, said: "Welcome to one of the best Universities in the country. I am super proud of it - my story and journey began here.
"It gives me great pleasure to welcome each and every one of you to the Corporate Games and I know that the next two days will be wonderful for each and every one of you."

The Corporate Games is the largest multi-sport festival for businesses in the UK, taking place across four days.

The University of Leeds hosted a variety of sporting competitions at its sporting facilities including: The Edge, The Gryphon Sports Centre, The Brownlee Centre at Bodington Playing Fields and the Bodington Football Hub.
