Leeton Shire Council
Council would like to thank the Leeton Shire community for getting behind the new three bin system (including the introduction of the green lidded FOGO bin) by giving away free compost tea to 10 lucky winners.
The new system was launched on 1 July 2024 and continues to impress with 48.74% of waste having been diverted from landfill since its introduction.
The compost tea used in the giveaway was produced at WormTech, a local licenced composting facility, who process the food and garden waste across Leeton Shire's kerbside service.
Entering the competition is easy and only requires a couple of simple steps:
