Leeton's recently redeveloped town centre, Chelmsford Place, will burst into life on Saturday, 12 April 2025, as the JBS Fiesta La Leeton returns for another dazzling evening of multicultural celebration. Running from 5.00pm to 9.00pm, this free, family-friendly street festival is set to be the biggest and brightest yet.
Proudly supported by JBS, Leeton Shire Council, The Irrigator, the Leeton Multicultural Support Group, and Multicultural NSW, Fiesta La Leeton 2025 promises a global feast for the senses, with street food and live entertainment that showcase the region's rich cultural diversity.
A highlight of this year's event is the performance by dynamic headline act True Vibenation, bringing their signature blend of Afrobeat, hip hop and funk to the main stage. Also featuring are vibrant performances from Leeton's local Fijian, Solomon Islander and Filipino communities—offering music, dance and cultural displays that celebrate the heritage and talent of our town.
Deputy Mayor Cr Michael Kidd will officially welcome the crowd and speak to the importance of embracing and celebrating the cultural richness that makes Leeton such a unique place to work, live and play.
Leeton Shire Council's Events Officer, Fran Macdonald, said Fiesta La Leeton continues to grow each year.
"Launched in 2023, this event is all about connection—sharing food, music and culture in the heart of our community. We're incredibly proud to have such strong support and participation from our local cultural groups, and funding from Multicultural NSW has helped us take it to the next level in 2025," she said.
With fusion flavours from across the globe, exciting kids' activities, and entertainment for all ages, there's something for everyone to enjoy at this vibrant night out under the stars.
