A serious collision in Leopold this month has now turned fatal.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Melaluka Road and Bellarine Highway, following reports a motorcycle and Isuzu D-max 4WD collided about 6.40am on August.
The male rider, a 45-year-old Newtown man, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but has since died in hospital.
The Isuzu driver was charged with dangerous driving causing serious injury but is expected to be charged with dangerous driving causing death.
The 35-year-old Leopold man was bailed to appear at Geelong Magistrates' Court again on 5 December.
