Lara Alexander putting her name to a media release* actively lobbying her own Government and Attorney-General to change the Tasmanian Retirement Villages Act is bizarre to say the least, and moonlighting at worst.
Is the Attorney-General going to act on Ms Alexander's calls, or is this just evidence of more division and disharmony in the Rockliff Liberal Government?
Lara Alexander is clearly unhappy in the Liberals, with her controversial and harmful stance on conversion practices causing a massive rift.
It also appears that she is against the Premier's plans to build a stadium, deepening the divide.
It is interesting to note that Ms Alexander's moonlighting with the Tasmanian Association for Residents of Retirement Villages (TARRV), involved the same public affairs consultant who ran her election campaign, sensationally speaking out about how she was gagged by Liberal HQ.
If Ms Alexander was that unhappy before she even entered the party, imagine how she is feeling now.
Jeremy Rockliff can't even keep his own team together, so it's little wonder Tasmania is facing a health, housing, education and cost-of-living crisis under his leadership.
