Today, the Liberals are officially releasing our 2030 Strong Plan for Tasmania's Future.
"Our 2030 Strong Plan for Tasmania's Future is all about taking action on the issues that affect you most right now, including cost of living, health, and housing," Premier Jeremy Rockliff said.
"With the election now only five days away, nearly all of the policies within our 2030 Strong Plan for Tasmania's Future have been released.
"This includes 51 separate policies with literally hundreds of individual initiatives.
"Some of the key policies within our Plan include:
- $250 energy bill credit for every Tasmanian household by 30th June;
- Ripping up the Labor-Green Hydro charter, so that Hydro prioritises Tasmanians ahead of exporting energy to Victoria;
- Half-price metro bus and ferry fares from 1st June;
- Zero stamp duty for first home buyers for homes valued up to $750,000;
- GP Guarantee so that when you need a get GP, you can see a GP;
- Effectively banning ramping, so that patients get the expert treatment they need quicker, and to get our ambos back on the road;
- Over half a billion dollars in new health infrastructure, including upgrades at all four major public hospitals, a new Northern Heart Centre, and partnering in a new private hospital in Launceston;
- Supporting local small business, by increasing the Buy Local weighting from 25 to 30 per cent, and introducing single-form tendering; and
- Ensuring Tasmanians get the Government they vote for, by legislating to ensure that people stick with the party that elected them.
"Our 2030 Strong Plan stands in stark contrast to our opponents, who have no credible plan and instead only a sea of uncosted, unfunded and ill thought through hoaxes.
"And, who can only govern in a Coalition of Chaos with the Greens, Lambies, and independents.
"The only way to deliver the stability and certainty Tasmania needs, so that we can deliver our 2030 Strong Plan, is to vote Liberal 1-7 on Saturday."
