What's better than celebrating Christmas at Light Up Windsor? Celebrating it TWICE!
Light Up Windsor Street Fair has been postponed due to forecasted wet weather - so lock in Sunday 1 December 2024 from 5pm to 9pm for the Light Up Windsor Christmas Trail and Thursday 19 December 2024 from 5pm to 9pm for the Light Up Windsor Street Fair.
On Sunday 1 December, the festivities will transform George Street from the Windsor train station to Fitzgerald Street, thanks to an Open Streets Program grant of $65,000 from the NSW Government.
The Hawkesbury's festive elves are planning illuminated Christmas installations, live entertainment, festive chalk art and Christmas murals, so leave the car at home and come by train for the full Light Up Christmas Trail experience!
Then on Thursday 19 December, bop along to festive favourites in between shopping for stocking stuffers, get your photos at the snow flurries and Christmas lights, and enjoy the free face painting, roaming and on-stage entertainment and fun family activities.
The main stage on George Street will provide hours of entertainment including the best in local music and dance talent.
With 40+ stalls offering Christmas decorations, homewares, pet gifts, handmade jewellery and more, plus many of the Windsor Mall shops open for trading, Light Up Windsor will be the perfect opportunity to find Christmas gifts for your loved ones. Local cafes and restaurants will also be open, as well as extra food trucks to cope with demand, so there will be plenty of food options!
Council's award-winning 'Find a Reindeer' competition will also be back! Find seven reindeer on the night and deliver your passport to Council's tent to collect a special prize!
