Dept of Climate Change, Energy, Environment & Water

We're hosting two public webinars in early November covering important lighting updates from the Equipment Energy Efficiency Program.

Join us to hear about how we're promoting energy-efficient lighting to help reduce household bills and greenhouse gas emissions.

The webinars will be hosted by Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (GEMS) Lighting and Heating. Guest presenters will be joining from:

  • Collaborative Labeling and Appliance Standards Program (CLASP)
  • Lighting Council Australia.

Topics will include:

  • how modern, energy efficient appliances are supporting net zero by 2050
  • advice on recent Minimum Energy Performance Standard determination updates for incandescent and halogen lamps
  • what is happening internationally with lighting energy efficiency policies
  • updates and guidance on the proposed determination for Light Emitting Diode (LED) lamps
  • question and answer sessions.

If you are a supplier, manufacturer, installer, retailer, buyer or just have an interest in lighting, register for one of the below webinars:
