Demand for e-bikes is booming in Melbourne and Lime is announcing Melburnians can now ride at a discounted rate thanks to the launch of its new LimePass.

For less than the cost of your daily coffee riders can get around Melbourne with LimePass for just $5.99 a day, enjoying discounted ride minutes and unlimited free unlocks, making commuting and exploring the city both affordable and effortless.

Lime's Melbourne Operations Manager Lara Nickless said she is excited to launch this new version of the LimePass and continue to offer green, affordable and accessible e-bike transportation to Melburnians following the removal of e-scooters from the City of Melbourne.

"Scooters may have left the city but Lime's in-house designed e-bike is here to stay. Our reduced LimePass pricing makes for an affordable transport option for commuters, visitors and Melburnians who rely on Lime to get around," Lara said.

"E-bikes can be ridden from North Melbourne across to South Yarra and down to Elwood and we are pleased to continue to provide this service to the Lime lovers of Melbourne.

"The perks for riding green are endless. Not only is it an economical option, it makes cycling convenient without the hassle of worrying where to store a personal bike and allows you to ride one way and tram home after a few drinks."

With the AFL Grand Final just around the corner, footy fans can celebrate knowing that LimePass is the ultimate way to get to the big game. To make the journey seamless, Lime will have seven designated parking spots around Yarra Park and additional parking wardens, ensuring a safe and hassle-free commute from start to finish.

LimePass can be purchased in multiple different packs. One day pass for $5.99, three days for $11.99, seven days for $34.99 and 30 days for $52.99. By offering riders a range of flexible options to save money, LimePass directly supports Lime's mission to create a future where transportation is shared, affordable and carbon-free.
