The Links Shell Cove has been nominated as a finalist in the Country Club of the Year for the NSW Golf Industry Awards.
The Links will go up against Rich River Golf Club and Mollymook Golf Club to take out the title.
The award recognises excellence on and off the course and highlights clubs that have excelled in several areas including member engagement, inclusivity, course improvements and community outreach.
The Links, which is owned by Shellharbour City Council, has experienced a remarkable period of growth and boasts a full golfing membership base.
"The Links Shell Cove continues to go from strength to strength," Mayor Chris Homer said.
"We are lucky to have a golf course that is not only unique and picturesque but also provides users with health and well-being benefits while also maintaining mini golf, driving range, a pro shop and The Tavern."
"All of this combined with our passionate and welcoming staff makes for a wonderful experience for members and community alike."
The Links Shell Cove continues to refine its operations with new manager Jonathon Williams taking the reins in August.
Mr Williams has a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry and high-performing businesses.
The award winner will be announced on Monday, November 11 in Sydney.
