Live Music boost for Inner West creatives

Inner West Council

Inner west creatives now have a remarkable opportunity to curate and organise live music under the Inner West Live Music Activations program.

Council is offering up to $20,000 in funding and resourcing support for five individuals or organisations to develop and deliver live music events.

The grants will be allocated to the five Inner West wards of Balmain, Leichhardt, Ashfield, Marrickville and Stanmore.

Expressions of Interest open Tuesday 11 April and there is a four-week window to deliver your amazing pitch to Council.

The program is based on the huge success of the Council-supported St. Anmore Music Festival delivered in Stanmore by community members in 2019 and 2022.

As part of the selection criteria, Council would like to know about the projects proposed location, title, description, target audience and proposed budget.

The gigs must be free public-facing events that have a focus on live music and are community led and delivered.

As part of the program, Council's Events team will provide support and expertise to help guide you through the process and help set you up with invaluable knowledge on how to deliver live music projects into the future.
