Living In Eurobodalla: What's Happening In Waste

Here's an update on what's new and what's returning in the waste world of Council.

Soft plastic and textile recycling

Textile recycling is now all-year round! The exciting news comes after trialling a linen collection day last year. The community brought in sheet-loads to be recycled and gave it a big thumbs up. So now you can drop-off your textile materials such as clothes, shoes, home textiles, soft toys, textile accessories and underwear for free at all three waste facilities. The textile waste bins are next to the soft plastic recycling bins. Yes! You read correct … now it's time to trial soft plastics recycling. Council has partnered with Recycle Smart to deliver soft plastics drop off points at all three of our waste facilities. Drop your stash to a waste facility free of charge.
