Local Author To Unveil Debut Crime Novel

Cessnock City Council invites members of the community to attend an exciting event with author Alicia Thompson at Kurri Kurri Library on Tuesday 29 October, 6-6.45pm.

Alicia will talk about her highly anticipated second novel 'Ex', a compelling debut in the crime genre that begins with the tragic death of Toby Soames in 2011 and the mysterious disappearance of Charlie Falk.

Library Services Coordinator Rose-marie Walters highlighted the significance of the author's work and encouraged members of the community to come along to the event.

"Alicia's latest book brilliantly intertwines ghostly elements with a profound exploration of grief, resonating deeply for many readers," said Ms Walters.

"This author talk is a unique opportunity for attendees to engage with Alicia, and delve into the gripping world she has created within the pages of Ex."

Copies of 'Ex' will be available to purchase at the event and attendees will have the opportunity to get it signed by the author.
