Local Planning Panel Representative: Bayside

Bayside Council is looking for community representatives to join its Local Planning Panel that hears submissions and helps determine certain types of development applications.

Each meeting of the Panel comprises three independent specialists, together with a local community representative.

Community representatives need to be over 18, live in the Bayside Local Government Area and understand the issues of the local community.

Representatives need to demonstrate a basic level of understanding of Council's planning system, local environmental plan, development control plan and other strategic plans.

Representatives will also need to follow a code of conduct and be available to attend evening panel meetings and site inspections.

Submissions close on Wednesday 16 June 2021.
