Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Funding - round three
At the June Council Meeting, Council endorsed the projects to be delivered as part of the Federal Government's Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Funding for round three, with some projects partially funded through previous stages.
Council was allocated $1,579 million which will see $1,139,092 invested in our swimming pools and $440,000 for community infrastructure projects.
Projects include:
Dunolly Swimming Pool
- repair of pool structure and filtration systems
Maryborough Sports and Leisure Centre
- Replacement of tiling system across all pools
- Carrying out various repairs of structural and compliance issues
- Improving all-abilities access to swimming pools
Talbot Outdoor Swimming Pool
- Carrying out various repairs of structural and compliance issues
- Improving all-abilities access to swimming pools
Community infrastructure projects
- $100,000 towards the Worsley Cottage structural upgrades project.
- Betley Hall Shelter
- Talbot Town Hall toilets
- Dunach School upgrade
- Dunolly Wayfinding signage
