Detectives have charged four people in relation to protracted property crime offences including stolen cars and burglaries since December 2024, between the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, including Rochedale South and Logan.
An Investigation Centre was established earlier this month to support an ongoing operation targeting a core group of recidivist property offenders, with officers from Centenary Crime Team, Logan CIB and property crime team, Acacia Ridge CIB, Tactical Crime Squads from Logan, Inala and Fortitude Valley assisting in targeted operations, along with support from intelligence units, Polair and the Dog Squad.
Throughout the course of operations so far, 34 stolen vehicles have been recovered.
Following extensive investigations, police attended a Windsor address on Brisbane's north at approximately 10.40pm last night, February 22.
Two people were taken into custody at the address, including a 21-year-old Woodridge man and 20-year-old Morayfield woman.
A crime scene was declared and during the search methylamphetamine, a firearm, GHB, ammunition, drug utensils, a stolen vehicle, stolen jewellery, four sets of high-end vehicle keys, three mobile phones and approximately $5,000 in cash were seized.
Police will allege the 21-year-old man is linked to offences across south-east Queensland since December 2024.
He has been charged with 34 offences, with investigation ongoing into a number of other property crime incidents.
Charges include nine counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, four counts of enter dwelling and commit, two counts each of enter premise and commit indictable offence by break, unlawful interference with supply of electricity to customer and attempted enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence and one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle (use to damage property), unlawful use of a motor vehicle (use for indictable offence in company), unlawful use of a motor vehicle (in company), armed robbery in company, robbery in company, damaging emergency vehicle when operating a motor vehicle, driving without a licence (disqualified), using vehicle for which number plate granted for another vehicle, driver fail to remain at incident, common assault, enter dwelling with intent by break at night, trespass (unlawfully enter or remain in dwelling or yard), attempted enter dwelling with intent at night whilst armed in company, possessing dangerous drugs and possessing drug utensils.
Police refused bail and he is expected to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow, February 24.
The 20-year-old Morayfield woman has been charged with two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and one count each of stealing, wilful damage, receiving tainted property and enter dwelling and commit.

A second search warrant was executed at a Durack address yesterday, February 22, where a teenage boy was taken into custody.
A 14-year-old Durack boy has been charged with five counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, three counts of enter premise with intent, two counts each of stealing and attempted burglary whilst armed and one count each of armed robbery in company, serious assault, wilful damage and burglary.
Police refused bail and he is expected to appear before Brisbane Children's Court tomorrow, February 24.
On Saturday February 21, a 13-year-old Durack boy was taken into custody at Browns Plains.
He has been charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, burglary, wilful damage, stealing and trespass.
The boy appeared before Brisbane Children's Court on Saturday February 22, where police opposed bail.
Brisbane Region Acting Assistant Commissioner Rhys Wildman says police are committed to tactical efforts to disrupt crime that is causing harm in our communities.
"I want to reassure the victims of crime who have been impacted by this offending, that police will not stop until each offender is off the streets.
