Long Street Upgrades To Be Finished By Christmas

Swan Hill Rural City Council is pleased to announce that the Long Street reconstruction project in Swan Hill is on track to be completed before Christmas.

Council's Director Infrastructure, Leah Johnston, informed that the project, which includes road reconstruction, as well as kerb, channel, and stormwater drainage works, is progressing well and is expected to be finished by Christmas.

"We appreciate the understanding and patience of the local community, especially the residents of Long Street. We recognise the inconvenience caused by the closure of Long Street during the project," Ms Johnston added.
Long Street will remain closed until the works have been completed which is on track to reopen prior to the Christmas holiday period.
