Celebrate the Lunar New Year in Boroondara with festive events and displays for the whole family to enjoy. In 2025, Lunar New Year falls on Wednesday 29 January and marks the start of the Year of the Snake.
We will be lighting up Hawthorn Arts Centre in red on Wednesday 29 January to mark the start of the Lunar New Year. Across Boroondara, we'll be celebrating the occasion with a variety of other events over the coming weeks.
