Luxury Handbags Stolen In Glen Waverly

Monash Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance after luxury handbags worth more than $550,000 were stolen from a shopping centre in Glen Waverley last month.

It is believed three male offenders parked a silver 2008 Range Rover Discovery, on Snedden Road just after 2.30am on 16 September.

The trio forced entry to the shopping centre entrance on O'Sullivan Road before breaking into a retail store within the complex.

Once inside the store, the offenders smashed the display cabinets and stole more than 20 Hermes designer handbags.

The offenders then fled the scene in the Range Rover.

Officers have released CCTV and images in the hope that someone with information will come forward.

Detectives are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone that may have been in the area at the time.
