Viatel Technology Group Limited ("Viatel" or the "Company") is to receive a new strategic investment from Macquarie Capital Principal Finance to fuel the company's continued organic and acquisition driven expansion.
Macquarie Capital will join Chirisa, Quay Ventures and management as a new shareholder in the business. The agreement will also see Nick Patrick from Macquarie Capital Principal Finance join the group's board.

The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close in early 2024.
