Armed Crime Squad detectives and local units along with assistance from the Special Operations Group have arrested two men in Meadow Heights this afternoon, Victoria Police say.
A 28-year-old Meadow Heights man was arrested at his home address about 2.45pm.
The arrest comes as detectives continue to investigate a non-fatal shooting which occurred in Castella Court, Meadow Heights about 8.20pm on Sunday.
It is alleged two men were involved in an argument on the driveway of a property when a firearm was produced and a 30-year-old Epping man shot in the leg.
The offender then drove from the property and the Epping man was taken to hospital for treatment.
Another man at the address was arrested in relation to drugs offences.
Both men are currently assisting police with their enquires.
