A 42 year old man has been arrested at Parkes Police Station following a believed domestic violence incident in the State's South this afternoon.
About 12pm today (Sunday 7 January 2023), emergency services were called to a home on Bribbaree Road, Bribbaree, 50 km northwest of Young following reports a woman had been injured in a house fire.
Officers attached to The Hume Police District arrived to find a 65-year-old woman suffering severe burns.
She was treated at the scene before being airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.
