Mirrabooka Detectives have apprehended a man, 37, after an incident that occurred in the men's toilet area of a local shopping centre located on Collier Road in Morley yesterday (30 May).
A 13-year-old boy was in a cubicle in the men's toilet area when it will be alleged the man entered the cubicle next to him. The man allegedly held his mobile phone under the partition with a message of a sexual nature on it which he showed to the teenager.
The victim reported the incident to Centre Security who contacted police.
A 37-year-old man from Morley is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on 21 June 2023, charged with 'Indecently Deals with a Child over 13 under 16 years'.
