Man Assisting Police After Suspicious Death At Auburn

Police are currently at a unit complex in Sydney's south west after a man died at the scene.

Shortly after 7.30pm today (Wednesday 22 May 2024), emergency services responded to a report of an incident at a unit complex in Richmond Avenue, Auburn.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a man, but he died at the scene.

Officers from Auburn Police Area Command arrested a 32-year-old man a short time later on South Parade, Auburn. He has been taken to Auburn Police Station and is currently assisting with inquiries.

A crime scene has been established.

It will be alleged that the men are known to one another.
