A man will face court next month charged following a search warrant in the state's Central West.
About 10.30am yesterday (Tuesday 27 August 2024), officers attached to Chifley Police District executed a search warrant at a home on Waddell Street, Canowindra.
During the search officers seized firearm parts, gel blasters, ammunition, methylamphetamine, cannabis, drug paraphernalia, and cash.
A 37-year-old man was arrested and taken to Cowra Police Station and charge with;
- Possess ammunition without holding licence/permit/authority
- Acquire firearm part without authority to do so
- Supply prohibited drug over small and under indictable quantity
- Possess prohibited drug
- Possess unauthorised firearm (two counts), and
- Deal with property proceeds of crime.
He was given conditional bail to appear at Cowra Local Court on Wednesday 25 September 2024.
