Man Charged After Vehicle Damage in St George

A man has been charged after several cars were damaged in Sydney's south.

About 3:15pm on Sunday 3 November 2024, police were notified that a man was allegedly damaging vehicles in Kimpton Street, Banksia.

On arrival, officers attached to St George Police Area Command found multiple damaged vehicles.

Police began patrolling the area and a 26-year-old man was arrested a short time later in Ferrier Street, Rockdale.

He was taken to Kogarah Police Station where he was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for injuries to his right arm sustained during the offences.

He was charged with destroy or damage property (eight counts) and refused bail to appear before Sutherland Local Court on Monday 4 November 2024
