Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following a fatal crash at Belmont yesterday, Victoria Police say.
It’s alleged a car was travelling along Barrabool Road around 11.30am when it crossed over to the other side of the road and hit two cars.
A 59-year-old Highton man involved in the crash died in hospital yesterday.
Investigators charged a 42-year-old Geelong man with dangerous driving cause death, conduct endangering, drive in manner dangerous, careless driving and driving while unlicensed.
He has been remanded to appear at Geelong Magistrates’ Court on 30 May.
