Wodonga Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a 57-year-old man following a house fire in Victoria’s north-east yesterday afternoon, Victoria Police say.
Emergency services were called to the blaze at the Victoria Street home in Wahgunyah shortly after 1pm.
Detectives arrested the Wahgunyah man today and he was charged with one count of criminal damage by fire (arson).
He will appear in Wodonga Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.
