Man Charged for Sexually Touching Teen on Train

A man has been charged after he allegedly sexually touched a teenage girl multiple times on a Quakers Hill train last year.

On Monday 2 December 2024, police received a report of alleged inappropriate behaviour on a train between Marayong and Quakers Hill.

Officers attached to Riverstone Police Area Command were told that a 16-year-old girl had allegedly been sexually touched multiple times by an unknown man while on a train.

During the incident the girl attempted to avoid the man; however, she was followed throughout the train by the man, before he left the train at Quakers Hill Railway Station.

Following the report, officers attached to Police Transport Command commenced an investigation into the incident.

About 4.50pm on Thursday 13 February 2025, following extensive investigations, police attended a home on Faye Street, Seven Hills, where they arrested a 19-year-old man.

He was taken to Riverstone Police Station where he was charged with sexually touch another person without consent.

The man was granted conditional bail to appear before Blacktown Local Court on Monday 24 February 2025.
