A man has been charged following an investigation into alleged drug supply offences on the Mid North Coast.
About 9.50am on Thursday 20 March 2025, officers from the Coffs Harbour Region Enforcement Squad executed a search warrant at a home on Church Street, Bellingen.
As a result of the search, officers allegedly located and seized 500g of cannabis, 104.57g of MDMA, 3.68g of ketamine, 2.91g of methamphetamine, prescription medications, $7100 cash, electronics, and several other items of interest.
The seized illicit drugs have a combined estimated potential street value of more than $39,000.
FRNSW Hazmat specialists also attended the property in relation to an unknown liquid which is still undergoing examination.
Following inquires, officers stopped a vehicle on Foxs Road, Nambucca Heads, about 1.15pm on Thursday 27 March 2025.
A man allegedly ran from the vehicle; however, was arrested a short time later and taken to Kempsey Police Station.
There the 41-year-old man was charged with 14 offences:
- Supply prohibited drug more than indictable and less than commercial quantity (seven counts),
- Supply prohibited drug more than or equal to large commercial quantity,
- Supply prohibited drug more than or equal to commercial quantity,
- Supply specified substance otherwise than by wholesale,
- Deal with property proceeds of crime, and
- Possess prohibited drug (three counts).
He was refused bail to appear before Kempsey Local Court on Friday 28 March 2025, where he was formally refused bail to appear before Coffs Harbour Local Court on Tuesday 27 May 2025.
