A man will face court today following an investigation into illegal firearms in the Campbelltown area.
Following an investigation by officers attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command, investigators executed a search warrant at 5.20pm yesterday (Monday 15 April 2024), at a home on Blenheim Place, Glenfield.
During the search police located and seized two rifles, a scope, a silencer and illicit drugs.
A 52-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Campbelltown Police Station.
He was charged with possess unauthorised firearm, two counts of not keep firearm safely, possess unauthorised prohibited firearm, possess prohibited drug and cultivate prohibited drug.
The man was refused bail to appear before Campbelltown Local Court today (Tuesday 16 April 2024).
