Man Charged in Plumpton Break-In, Stabbing

A man will face court over an alleged break and enter and stabbing in Sydney's west last month.

Just after 11.50pm on Saturday 29 March 2025, emergency service services were called to a home on Rooty Hill Road, Plumpton, following reports of two people have been stabbed.

Officers attached to Mount Druitt Police Area Command were told an unknown man had forced his way into the home and stabbed a 22-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman before leaving the scene.

The two people were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to a hospital for a non-life threatening injuries.

A crime scene was established, and police commenced an investigation into the incident.

Following inquiries, about 5pm yesterday (Thursday 3 April 2025), police arrested a 19-year-old man at a home on Heffron Road, Lalor Park.

He was taken to Blacktown Police Station where he was charged with special aggravated break and enter serious indictable offence – wound, and an outstanding warrant on an assault law officer (not police officer).

He was refused bail to appear at Blacktown Local Court today (Friday 4 April 2025).
