A man will face court today charged following an investigation into a robbery at Coffs Harbour earlier this month.
About 4am on Tuesday 4 February 2025, police were called to a property on Ocean Parade, Coffs Harbour, following reports of a robbery.
Police were told several males allegedly entered the residence and threatened an occupant with a knife before cash, jewellery, mobile phones, and a Chevrolet Corvette were stolen from the property.
The vehicle was recovered later that morning in West Kempsey.
Following inquiries by Coffs Harbour Detectives and the Mid North Coast Police District under Strike Force Contrition, detectives attended a home in West Kempsey about 1.50pm yesterday (Thursday 20 February 2025).
A 23-year-old man was arrested and taken to Kempsey Police Station where he was charged with two counts of robbery armed with offensive weapon, enter vehicle or boat without consent of owner/occupier, and be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner.
Two warrants were also executed over unrelated matters.
He was refused bail to appear before Kempsey Local Court today (Friday 21 February 2025).
Inquiries into the incident continue.
