Officer's from Hunter Valley Police District have charged a man wanted on an arrest warrant today.
About 9.30am (Thursday 31 January 2019), officers received information that a 27-year-old man returned to a home on Northcote Street, Aberdare, on a motorbike.
Officers attended and surrounded the premises.
Meanwhile, a '000' call was made by a woman claiming a stabbing had occurred in a stated location in Cessnock.
Officers allegedly traced that call and determined that it had been made by a woman inside the surrounded premises.
Officers forced entry to the Northcote Street home and arrested two men aged 26 and 27, and a woman aged 33.
A Suzuki motorcycle was seized from the premises.
They were taken to Cessnock Police Station where the older man was charged with police pursuit (x2), disqualified driver, driver unregistered and uninsured vehicle, goods in custody (x2), steal from dwelling and an outstanding warrant.
He was refused bail and will appear in Maitland Local Court tomorrow (Friday 1 February 2019).
The 33-year-old woman was charged with making a vexatious call to emergency services and possess prohibited drug.
She was given conditional bail and will appear in Maitland Local Court on Wednesday 27 February 2019
The 26-year-old man was released without charge.
