Man Charged Over Breach of Supervision Order

Sex Crimes Squad detectives have charged a man for an alleged breach of his extended supervision order.

About 8.30am today (Wednesday 7 August 2024), officers attached to State Crime Command's Sex Crimes Squad – with assistance from Lake Macquarie Police District and Brisbane Water Police District – attended an address in Somersby, where they arrested a 57-year-old man.

The man was taken to Gosford Police Station, where he was charged with fail to comply with Extended Supervision Order (ESO).

He was refused bail to appear before Gosford Local Court the same day.

Police will allege in court the man breached his ESO by failing to accept supervision as per the terms of the order.
