A man has been charged following a fatal crash at Milton, on the state’s south coast, earlier this week, NSW Police say.
Emergency services were called to Matron Porter Drive just before 4pm on Thursday (11 January 2018), after a Volvo and a Subaru collided head-on.
The front passenger of the Subaru, a 36-year-old woman, died at the scene.
The other occupants of the Subaru – the 36-year-old male driver and a five-year-old boy - were taken to hospital with critical injuries.
The Volvo driver, a 39-year-old man, was taken to Milton Hospital before being transferred to St George Hospital for treatment.
Following inquiries by the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit, the 39-year-old man was arrested after being discharged from hospital today (Saturday 13 January 2018) and taken to Kogarah Police Station where he was charged with:
- Dangerous driving occasioning death;
- Dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm (x2);
- Negligent driving occasioning death;
- Negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.
The Narrawallee man was given bail to appear at Sutherland Local Court on Tuesday 20 February 2018.
