A man has been charged will 41 property offences in Sydney after investigations by the Central Metropolitan Region Enforcement Squad, NSW Police say.
In May 2017 operation JAVA-5 was established to prevent and reduce property related crime across the Central Metropolitan Region.
Following inquiries, on Tuesday 16 May 2017, officers attached to operation JAVA-5 arrested a 26-year-old man.
At that time he was charged with 20 offences including:
- Outstanding revocation of parole warrant;
- Larceny;
- Three counts of take & drive conveyance;
- Five counts of aggravated break and enter;
- Resisting arrest;
- Possession of a knife and;
- A number of fraud and traffic offences.
Subsequent investigations established the 26-year-old man had allegedly committed a number of further offences.
yesterday, investigators attended Silverwater Correctional Complex and the man was arrested for 21 further offences.
He was charged with:
- Two counts of larceny;
- Seven counts of take & drive conveyance;
- Three counts of aggravated break and enter ;
- Eight fraud offences and;
- Deal in the proceeds of crime.
He has been refused bail to appear at Central Local Court today for all 41 offences.
