Man Charged With Child Grooming in Kuring-Gai

A man has been charged over an alleged child grooming offence in the Kuring Gai region.

In September, officers attached to Kuring Gai Police Area Command commenced an investigation into allegations a man groomed a child online.

Following inquiries, a 27-year-old man was arrested today (Friday 6 September 2024) in Wahroonga before he was taken to Hornsby Police Station.

He was charged with one count of procuring or grooming child under 16 for unlawful sexual activity.

The man was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court tomorrow (Saturday 7 September 2024).
