Man Charged with Domestic Violence Offences in Greenacre

A man will appear in court today charged with serious domestic violence offences relating to incidents alleged to have occurred earlier this week.

On Tuesday (16 July 2024), officers attached to the South West Metropolitan Region High Risk Domestic Violence Offender Team - with assistance from the Camden Police Area Command - commenced inquiries to locate a 44-year-old man following reports of alleged domestic violence offences.

Following extensive inquiries, police arrested the man at a hotel on Waterloo Road, Greenacre, about 8.15pm yesterday (Wednesday 17 July 2024).

He was taken to Bankstown Police Station and was charged with two counts stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (domestic), use carriage service to menace/harass/offend and contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO (Domestic).

The man was refused bail to appear before Bankstown Local Court today (Thursday 18 July 2024).
