Man Charged With Drug Offences After Manning Search

A man has been charged with drug offences after drugs were seized during a search warrant in the Manning / Great Lakes area yesterday.

Following an investigation into the alleged ongoing supply of drugs in the area, officers from Manning / Great Lakes Police District executed a search warrant at a property on Mills Parade, Tuncurry on 4 January 2024.

During the search police located and seized an amount of methylamphetamine.

Inquiries continued and as a result of the ongoing investigation, a further search warrant was executed yesterday (Wednesday 31 July 2024) at the Mills Parade, Tuncurry, property.

A 32-year-old man was arrested and taken to Forster Police Station where he was charged with

- 2 counts Supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis

- 1 count Supply Prohibited Drug Indictable and Commercial

- 1 count Supply Prohibited Drug (deeming provisions).

The man has been taken to hospital for assessment where he remains.
