Man Charged With Drug Trafficking After Factory Raid

Police have charged a man overnight after locating a traffickable quantity of various drugs of dependence, a significant quantity of cash and approximately 2000 vapes in Dandenong.

A warrant was executed yesterday (Wednesday 26 February) at a factory on Federation Road in Dandenong.

Police seized approximately 500g of ice, 500g of cocaine and quantities of ketamine and cannabis as well as approximately $70,000 cash and 2000 illicit vapes from the premises.

A 23-year-old Narre Warren was charged with traffick large commercial quantity drug of dependence, possess proceeds of crime, possess schedule 4 poison (vapes), and possess prohibited weapon (extendable baton).

He was remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 10 April.
