A man is due to appear in Sutherland Local Court today charged with murder, NSW Police say.
After 2pm yesterday today, police were called to a home unit in Robertson Street, Sutherland, where they found the body of a man, believed to be aged 60.
A crime scene was established and Strike Force Carslake was formed to investigate the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
The strike force comprises detectives from Sutherland Local Area Command.
A 50-year-old man was arrested about 3.15pm and was taken to Sutherland Police Station where he was charged with murder.
He’s been refused to appear in Sutherland Local Area Court later today tomorrow.
The deceased is yet to be formally identified.
