Man Charged With Stalking After Antisemitic Incident

A man has been charged with stalk/intimidate offences after an alleged antisemitic incident in Sydney's south earlier this year.

Police have been investigating a report that antisemitic comments were directed at a 28-year-old staff member in a lift at a hospital at Kogarah about 4pm on Friday 28 February 2025.

Following inquiries by officers attached to St George Police Area Command a 24-year-old man was arrested in Arncliffe about 6.45am today (Thursday 3 April 2025).

St George detectives took the man to St George Police Station where he was charged with stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm, and use carriage service – possess violent extremist material.

The man was refused bail to appear in Sutherland Local Court today (Thursday 3 April 2025).

Two mobile phones, seized when a search warrant was executed at premises at Arncliffe, have been taken for further examination.
