A man has died in hospital following a crash on the Central Coast last week.
About 5pm on Saturday 8 February 2025, emergency services were called to Old Pacific Highway, Mooney Mooney Creek, following reports of a single-vehicle crash.
Officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District arrived to find a car had crashed into an embankment, causing the vehicle to roll onto its roof.
The driver and two passengers were injured and taken to The Royal North Shore Hospital.
Police established a crime scene, with assistance from the Hunter Crash Investigation Unit, and commenced an investigation.
On Thursday 13 February 2025, a 77-year-old man died in hospital.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
Inquiries into the crash are ongoing.
