A man has died after falling from a cliff in Sydney's north today.
About 12.30pm (Friday 3 January 2025), emergency services were called to a picnic area on the Duckholes Trail, Terrey Hills, following reports a man had fallen 20m from a cliff into water below.
Officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command attended alongside NSW Ambulance paramedics.
The body of the man, who is yet to be formally identified, however believed to be in his 40s, has been recovered from the water.
A crime scene was established and an investigation commenced into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A report will now be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
