Man Dies After Crash At Taree

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in Taree.

About 10.40am yesterday, (Saturday 8 March 2025), emergency services were called to Muldoon Street, following reports a vehicle had travelled through an intersection before leaving the road and driving through a fence of a house.

The driver and only occupant – a 73-year-old man – was treated by officers from Manning/Great Lakes Police District and NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he died at the scene.

Police have received no other reports of injuries.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is underway.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
