Man Dies After Crash - East Lynne

A man has died following a crash on the state's South Coast.

About 1.30pm yesterday (Thursday 28 November 2024), emergency services were called to the Princes Highway, East Lynne, north of Maidens Road, about 30km south of Ulladulla, following reports of a truck and car crash.

The male driver of the utility, aged 37, died at the scene.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.

The male driver of the truck, aged 57, was not injured in the incident and was taken to Batemans Bay Hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers attached to South Coast Police District, assisted by specialist officers attached to the Crash Investigation Unit established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
