A man has died after a crash in the state's south today.
Just after 2pm today, Sunday 26 January 2025, emergency services were called to Rands Tank Road, Currawarna (approximately 50km north west of Wagga Wagga), after reports of a single-vehicle crash.
Officers attached to Riverina Police District attended and found a Suzuki Swift hatchback had crashed into a tree.
The driver, a man believed to be aged in his 90's, died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified.
Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
